11 febrero, 2020Android sigue siendo por excelencia el sistema operativo más usado en el mundo, por ello, cada actualización no solo es por cambiar de nombre, conozca las posibilidades del más reciente SO de Google.
Si bien el más reciente sistema operativo de Android fue lanzado el año pasado, esta actualización ha ido llegando paulatinamente a las diferentes marcas y modelos de smartphones. Aquí, algunas novedosas funcionalidades para aprovecharlo al máximo.
- Subtítulos automáticos: la función Live Caption le añade subtítulos automáticos a los videos, podcasts y mensajes de audio, incluso aquellos grabados por el mismo usuario, con tan solo un toque. Esta función no necesita de datos o wifi, y se activa o desactiva desde el mismo botón del volumen del celular.
- Respuestas inteligentes: además de brindar respuestas sugeridas a los mensajes de texto que recibe el usuario, también recomienda acciones útiles relacionadas. Por ejemplo, si el mensaje dice “veámonos en el centro comercial a las 10”, Android podría sugerir una respuesta inmediata o recomendar abrir Google Maps para mostrar la ubicación exacta del lugar.
- Amplificador de sonido: a través de la app Sound Amplifier, los Android 10 pueden reforzar o amplificar el sonido, quitar ruidos de fondo y hacer ajustes para que el usuario escuche mejor. Es una gran funcionalidad para personas con cierta discapacidad auditiva.
- Navegación con gestos: si bien esta no es una nueva funcionalidad, en los Android 10 la navegación con gestos funciona de manera más rápida e intuitiva. Con un solo toque, es posible retroceder, avanzar, abrir el Asistente de Voz, entre otras acciones.
- Modo oscuro: usa el color negro como fondo para las interfaces del teléfono y le permite a la batería durar mucho más. En este modo también se pueden configurar apps como Google Calendar y Google Photos.
- Formatos para dispositivos plegables: Android 10 permite que los dispositivos plegables y 5G, que hasta ahora empiezan a entrar al mercado, puedan reproducir contenidos que se adapten a las distintas pantallas (completas o plegadas) en solo segundos y sin perder calidad.
- Más opciones de privacidad: Android siempre le ha permitido a sus usuarios tener control sobre su información, pero con Android 10 es más sencillo hacerle seguimiento a los permisos y ajustes de privacidad. El usuario puede controlar más fácilmente cuándo compartir su ubicación con las apps que usa, y personalizar el tipo de anuncios que ve.
- Actualizaciones de seguridad más rápidas: Android 10 recibe soluciones a problemas de seguridad de manera más rápida y fácil, por lo que hace correcciones constantemente y se mantiene al día con las actualizaciones.
- Modo “Focus”: le permite a los usuarios evitar distracciones cuando están haciendo algo importante o urgente en sus celulares. Por ejemplo, si están revisando el correo del trabajo, les permite bloquear o pausar temporalmente otras apps para evitar que interrumpan sus labores. Todo con un solo toque.
- Family Link para padres e hijos: con esta app, los padres pueden establecer límites de tiempo en pantalla para los chicos, administrar las aplicaciones que usan y restringir el contenido que no consideran conveniente para ellos.
